B12 is necessary for the replication of red blood cells. It strengthens myelin, plays an important role in converting food into energy and the production of DNA. Along with Folic Acid and B6, B12 helps to lower high homocysteine levels; this in turn can reduce the risk of heart disease. Vegetarians and vegans should supplement B12, as the main food sources are from animal produce.
Take 1 tablet daily with a meal or a glass of water.
